Baby Naming/Brit Milah

In Jewish tradition, the arrival of a new baby is greeted with a two-part ceremony:
1. Welcoming the baby by bringing him or her into the Covenant (Brit).
2. Giving the baby a name by which he or she will be known in the Jewish community.
