What's a mentsch? Why do I want to be one?
Mentsch is a Yiddish word for a good, caring and decnt person. You are a mentsch when you act in a manner that promotes justice, kindness and respect for yourself, your family, your community, and the world whole. Children will brainstorm, create, implement service projects that will benefit community. They will also watch films dealing with real-life, kid-appropriate themes.
Our Mentschs-in-Training (MITs), will discover how to put values into action and gain a greater understanding of doing good in the world around them!
