Kindergarten
Kindergarten is a full-day program, 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday. The school year begins the last week of August and typically ends by the end of the third week of June. Kindergarten has its own classroom in the early childhood learning wing of the school and shares student-size bathrooms and a playground with the preschool.
Judaic studies are in the morning, general studies in the afternoon. Differentiated learning is employed in both Judaic and general studies via learning groups. The school library is available to kindergarten students for storytime. There are field trips to local museums, parks and sites throughout the school year. Generally, two aides assist the teacher. Parents are welcome to contact the teacher about volunteer opportunities. Snacks and lunch need to be provided from home. Hillel is a peanut, tree-nut and sesame seed free school. In addition all foods must be kosher, parave and/or dairy (no meat products). Kindergarten students are expected to adhere to the school uniform policy. Tuition is $897.50 per month
