Preschool for 4 Year Olds, Monday, Wednesday and Friday Afternoons

Organization:

Temple Sinai Preschool is a part of a Temple Sinai reform congregation in Southeast Denver at 3509 S. Glencoe St. As a partner with the Jewish Early Childhood Education Initiative (JECEI), we strive to create a warm and nurturing environment where families are seen as partners in their child's education and growth. Our partnership with JECEI incorporates ideas from the Reggio Emilia Approach. Children are seen as competent, resourceful, curious, imaginative and inventive and possess a desire to interact and communicate with others. This approach is evident in all areas of our school, including the way we structure our time, curricula and classrooms, and in the way we approach our relationships with children, families and one another. Hands-on activities and a creative environment foster self-expression, intellectual growth, physical development and self-help skills to prepare children for kindergarten. Afternoon programming includes an enrichment program as well as a rest time from 12:30–3 p.m. Extended day care is available until 6 p.m. Tuition is $225 per month and takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons starting Monday, August 24, 2009 until Monday, May 17, 2010. Temple Sinai Preschool runs on the same break schedule as the Cherry Creek School district for Winter and Spring breaks and is closed on all major Jewish and secular holidays. Please contact Mary Perlmutter, Office Manager, for registration information and Suzie Valas, Assistant Director, for classroom tours at 303-759-0755. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm and located at 3509 South Glencoe Street, Denver, Colorado 80237.
