As children are 4 and 5, their investigations and explorations take on greater depth. They become more analytical in their thinking and are able to express their learning in a representational manner. Ideas and concepts often span over several weeks, depending on the interests and explorations of the group. Children often explore an area of the curriculum in small groups, allowing for a deep understanding of the subject matter, as well as lots of individual attention. Our strong teaching team infuses into these natural exploration opportunities of number sense, science, literacy, cognitive development, fine motor, and the self help skills that are needed in preparation for their transition to kindergarten. Jewish traditions, values, and concepts are seamlessly woven through everyday activities as well as a special Shabbat celebration on Fridays. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse community of learners with a love of life long Jewish connections and learning.
The Pre-Kindergarten program meets from 9:00am to 12:30pm three, four, or five days per week. Our extended day program offered to 4-5 year-olds includes a quiet transition period, light snack, gross motor/playground time, free classroom play, and special interactive hands on activity designed to enrich your child's development and growth. This year we are offering Hip Hop Dance, Sports and Fitness for kids with Jump Bunch, Alef Bet Yoga, and Orff Music with Tempo Music. We offer multiple attendance options Monday through Friday 8:00am. through 4:00pm. Please contact the HEA Preschool Office at 303-758-1462 for availability and additional pricing information. Current Fees are as follows: Morning attendance 9:00am-12:30am; 2 day mornings $265.00, 3 morning $395.00, 5 mornings $625.00 per month. Afternoon enrichment 12:30pm-3:00pm can be added to any morning program for $70.00 per month. Early (8:00am-9:00am) or after care (3:00pm-4:00pm) can be added to your child's day for an additonal $25.00 per month.
Value of Discount:
Receive one free month of preschool tuition, applied over 9 or 12 months. A MazelTot discount covers one free month of tuition for one student, up to a maximum of $500. This discount can only be used by families new to Jewish preschool in Greater Denver and Boulder.
