Shabbat School

Shabbat School offers a warm, caring environment where every child can learn his/her Judaic subjects using innovative, interesting and interactive techniques. The Shabbat School meets on the first and third Shabbat of each month as well as on the second Friday night for a family Kabbalat Shabbat Service. Each class, from Pre-kindergarten to fifth grade is a laboratory where the students learn-age appropriate basic prayers. The youngest students will learn the letters of the Aleph-Bet and words beginning with each letter. Kindergarten involves playtime, stories and a Shabbat service. Snacks are offered in all classes and this too is a learning experience. Simple brachot, the entire birkat hamazon and many z'mirot are part of every Saturday morning and Shabbat ending service. $300 annual tuition. For more information visit www.rodef-shalom.org.
