Hebrew School Open House and pre Rosh Hashanah celebration

On Sunday September 5th Chabad of NW Metro Denver's Hebrew school will start a new school year with a grand pre-Rosh Hashanah event from 10:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

If you have been on the fence about Hebrew School this is a great opportunity for you to bring the kids and see our school for yourselves. The program will be a mix of our Hebrew school activities and High Holidays arts and crafts. Your RSVP will be appreciated to Leahnbenjy@aol.com

High Holiday Children's Program

Organization: 

Join us for Rosh Hashanah services at Chabad of NW Metro Denver! No tickets or membership required, no background or affiliation necessary. Warm & friendly atmosphere.

Exciting free children's program at from 10:30 am to 1: pm. Ages 3-12.

The children are divided into age appropriate groups and led by energetic counselors. They get to experience the joy of holidays in their own special way-in their own designated facilities, close to their parents.

The Reading Jungle- "Hang Time" and Playgroups

Enjoy some “Family Time” in room 205. Open the door and discover a great place to spend time with your young children at the JCC. The Reading Jungle is our delightful family library filled with Judaic and mainstream children’s books, parenting and teacher resources, CDs and toys. With Tales from The Jungle, Open Play, and Playgroup Gatherings, we’ve created many opportunities for you to come and enjoy this wonderful space.

Warm Welcome Visit, FREE!

Mazel Tov on your new baby! We know there’s so much for you to do and learn. Let us help; we offer caring support, a connection to community resources, a way to meet other new parents, and a gift basket that includes information on child development and parenting skills! Shalom Baby gives you all this and more through a Warm Welcome visit from a trained volunteer. There is no charge for this service.

Baby Naming

Organization: 

Our rabbi is available to lead your Baby Naming/Brit Milah ceremony. The ceremony is filled with meaning and all members of the family, parents, grandparents and siblings are encouraged to be involved. Real inspiration is offered and there is always a touch of humor added.

Brit Milah

Organization: 

The Brit Milah ceremony is considered the sign of a new-born child's entry into the Jewish tradition. The Brit Milah of a healthy baby boy is always done on the 8th day. The family will coordinate this special occasion with the Rabbi and the Mohel to make it a spiritually meaningful event. The Brit may be performed in the Synagogue or at home. Brit Milah

Organization: 

BMH-BJ provides clergy services for baby namings and Brit Milahs to both members and non-members of BMH-BJ. Whether done during morning services, Sunday afternoon or at Shabbat, the clergy members will work with you to make your celebration special.  The celebration can take place at the synagogue or off-site.  For more information, call 303-388-4203.
