Passover Fun!

Join us as we explore Passover through song, story and a simple craft.  Parents, we will share ideas on how to celebrate Passover in a way that is family friendly but meaningful for adults too.  Today's program is geared towards ages 2 - 5, but older and younger siblings are welcome.

Tot Chavurah condensed Passover Seder

Join the CBE Tot Chavurah for a tot-friendly Passover Seder and play group at a chavurah member's home in Golden.  Please join us as we have an informal, condensed version of a Passover seder, using the book, "Sammy Spider's Passover Haggadah" as a guide.  There will be enough copies of the haggadah available, however, if you already have a copy feel free to bring it.  Following the seder, we will have Passover breakfast, time to schmooze and most importantly, time to play.  Contact alise_co@yahoo.com for more information.

Friday Night Shabbat Dinner & Lecture with Dr. Nate Easley

Dr. Nate Easley will be presenting at the Friday Night Shabbat Dinner and Lecture Series.

Easley is the executive director of the Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) and a former member (and past president) of the Denver Public Schools Board of Education. He has extensive experience in helping disadvantaged students realize their dream of a college education, and in securing grant funding to sustain student programs. He has over 25 years of experience working with college access and retention programs and professionals.

Young Family Shabbat Experience

Young Family Shabbat Experience is designed to provide families with children ages 1-6 with a meaningful Shabbat experience. Friday evening includes Shabbat dinner (with rituals), Shabbat worship and programming to build community.

Reservations for Shabbat dinner are require by Wednesday prior and can be made online at www.EmanuelDenver.org/YSFE. You can bring your own dinner if you choose (no pork or shell fish plese), but please make a reservation so we know how many to expect.
