Family Tashlich

Date/Time:
Thu, 09/09/2010 - 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Tashlich (תשליך) is a ritual that many Jews observe during Rosh HaShanah. "Tashlich" means "casting off" in Hebrew and involves symbolically casting off the sins of the previous year by tossing pieces of bread into a body of flowing water. Just as the water carries away the bits of bread, so too are sins symbolically carried away. Join us for our Family Tashlich on the 1st Day of Rosh Hashanah, Thursday, September 9, 5:30 pm.  We will meet at Rabbi Dollin's House (3795 South Hibiscus Way, Denver, CO 80237) and walk to Dahlia Hollow Park for Tashlich at approximately 6:15 pm.
