BMH-BJ is a modern Orthodox Zionist synagogue serving the entire Denver Jewish Community. Our 650 congregant families promote spirituality, relevancy and intimacy. We nurture an awareness of the Divine in the world through Jewish learning, joyous experiences and vibrant prayer through multiple worship experiences. Twice daily minyan services, Shabbat services, educational programs and numerous social events will find a cross-section of Denver Jewry in attendance. To accommodate the diversity of worshippers, the synagogue has both a main sanctuary with mixed seating and a chapel with a mechitzah for separate seating.

Preschools and Camps

Receive one free month off of annual tuition for Jewish preschool, applied over nine or 12 months - up to $500 - or one free week of summer camp. Restricted to families new to Jewish preschool in Denver and Boulder.

BMH-BJ's preschool classrooms are small and intimate with low teacher-student ratios and plenty of one-to-one interaction with the students. The classrooms enable children to develop an essential sense of their own self-worth, confidence and the willingness to explore the new or unfamiliar, and the ability to play and interact socially with others. The BMH-BJ Syagogue Preschool teachers develop a positive curriculum in which children learn the basics to prepare them for their soon-to-begin careers as students. Jewish holidays are celebrated in class, helping children get a sense of the ruach (the spirit of their religion and culture). From the earliest ages, the children begin to learn Hebrew songs, the Shema, brachot and other Jewish prayers.
Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m.; no parents in classes. Monthly tuition is $930
