Denver Academy of Torah is a modern-Orthodox, co-educational, Zionist Jewish day school, serving students from pre-kindergarten through high school.

Our Pre-K features a full Judaic and General Studies Curriculum. Students learn both the Hebrew and English alphabets while learning basic reading and writing skills in both languages. In addition, students are introduced to spoken Hebrew through much of the day. Students also build their math and science skills through hands on activities and field trips. While Denver Academy of Torah offers a top-notch academic education, students also have plenty of time for art projects, free play and of course, recess.

Denver Academy of Torah preschool students have weekly "specials" including gym, music and Hebrew with our Bnot Sherut (visiting women from Israel who come to the US as a part of their National Service.) Further, small student teacher ratios, 1 teacher per 7 students, ensure individual attention.

Denver Academy of Torah, located on the Glassman Education Campus, is on four acres of spacious ground, conveniently located off of Monaco and Alameda. The multi-million dollar facility, which opened in 1999, features warm and welcoming classrooms, a fully equipped computer lab, multipurpose room, individualized education room, playing field and playground.  Denver Academy of Torah is accredited by the Association of Colorado Independent Schools and our Pre-K is licensed by the State of Colorado.

A new scholarship fund at the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado offers scholarships to any Jewish early childhood education center in Denver or Boulder, including ours. Learn more about the fund.
