Judaism in the Foothills is a Jewish Outreach and Cultural Center. It offers Jewish communal and educational events including Synagogue services. Its mission is to help all people to experience the beauty of Judaism . This is achieved through the use of innovative educational, cultural and social programs coupled with a philosophy of unconditional love, nonjudgmental acceptance. We serve the Jewish communities of Evergreen, Conifer, Morrison, Pine, Bailey, Golden and the surrounding foothills areas.

Classes

Try out a free single-session class or take 50% off for a multi-session class, up to $100.

The Sunday morning Hebrew School program is designed to grab your child’s attention through song, prayer, art, drama and games. It also exposes students to the aleph-bet, Hebrew language and writing. The children learn about Judaism and how to read and speak Hebrew in a fun way.

At JITF's Gan Israel Hebrew School our goal is simple: We want our students to view Judaism in an intelligent, relevant and upbeat light and to be very familiar with the written and spoken Hebrew language. We hope to engage their senses of identity by capturing their imaginations and attention. $475 per year or $25 per session.

Independent Celebrations

Have a Jewish educator, rabbi or ritual leader create a unique Jewish experience that reflects your family's interests and values and receive a 50% discount on the cost, up to $150.

Our rabbi is available to lead your Baby Naming/Brit Milah ceremony. The ceremony is filled with meaning and all members of the family, parents, grandparents and siblings are encouraged to be involved. Real inspiration is offered and there is always a touch of humor added.

Preschools and Camps

Receive one free month off of annual tuition for Jewish preschool, applied over nine or 12 months - up to $500 - or one free week of summer camp. Restricted to families new to Jewish preschool in Denver and Boulder.

Judaism in the Foothills presents Camp Gan Israel: June 21 - 25, 2010

(Our Jewish Kids Camp serves Evergreen, Golden, Morrison, Pine, Conifer and west Metro Denver)

WE BELIEVE A CAMP SHOULD DO A LOT MORE THAN JUST PROVIDE FUN & GAMES

See Below for Gan Israel's Hebrew Language Immersion Porgram

  • A Jewish camp should be a place where children can experience the richness, excitement, and warmth of Judaism.
  • A camp should be a place where children learn the importance of caring, sharing, tolerance, patience and working with others.
  • A camp should bring out the best in each child’s character and personality.
  • And finally, camp should be a truly enjoyable and unforgettable experience!

And that’s what JITF's Camp Gan Israel is all about!

OUR PROGRAM INCLUDES:

  • Hebrew Language Immersion
  • Jewish Cooking
  • Fields trips
  • Science
  • And much more
  • Arts & Crafts
