The Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center (JCC) is a comprehensive family center. The JCC’s mission is to provide recreational, cultural, educational and social programs to perpetuate, strengthen and serve the Jewish community, guided by its own timeless Jewish goals and values. The JCC is a pluralistic organization that welcomes Jews of all denominations and families of all types. Facilities include an early childhood center, sports and fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, theaters, conference rooms, classrooms, dance and music facility, tumbling room and public gathering spaces.

Since 1935, the JCC Early Childhood Center has provided a nurturing, stimulating and enriching environment for children to grow and learn. Jewish values are central to our mission and are infused into all aspects of our curriculum, philosophy and goals for families and children. We believe that children are competent, curious, capable and deserving of individualized attention. Our curriculum is play-based, child-directed and emerges through the interests of each child. All children enjoy weekly gym and music classes and children ages 3 and older receive swim lessons once a week. We host a weekly all-school Shabbat celebration every Friday.

A new scholarship fund at the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado offers scholarships to any Jewish early childhood education center in Denver or Boulder, including ours. Learn more about the fund.

The JCC needs your help...

Currently we are trying to see if there is enough interest to form a group that would meet weekly or maybe once a month, in order to help new moms through this sometimes challenging time. The idea would be to relax with other mommies and newborns, get support and resources on breastfeeding and find answers to other “new mom questions” with a certififed lactation consultant.

If you are interested in getting this started, please contact Jill Katchen, Family Programs Coordinator, at (303) 316-6336 or jkatchen@jccdenver.org
