About Our Seders

Shabbat Unplugged with Steve Brodsky and the Shabbat Unplugged Band and Shabbat Dinner.

Whether it's your first time or hundreth time, join us for a Shabbat evening of contemporary and classic, spiritually-inspiring musical worship. Dance, sing and pray as a community at this free Shabbat worship. Stay for a Shabbat dinner following services (reservations required by Wednesday, April 24).

Temple Members:

$13 Adults, $7 Children (5-12 years old)

Non Members:

$18 Adults, $9 Chidlren (5-12 years old).

Dr. Nate Easley will be presenting at the Friday Night Shabbat Dinner and Lecture Series.

Easley is the executive director of the Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) and a former member (and past president) of the Denver Public Schools Board of Education. He has extensive experience in helping disadvantaged students realize their dream of a college education, and in securing grant funding to sustain student programs. He has over 25 years of experience working with college access and retention programs and professionals.

It's Purim Time

Friday Feb 22nd from 4-5:30pm at JCC South Denver(9625 E. Arapahoe Rd Greenwood Village, 80112)

Come and experience Purim like you never have before. Join JCC South Denver Parents Liat Gold and Gilat Steiner for an interactive musical and drama activity as they tell the story of Purim. Hamentashen snacks included.

Parents are welcome to drop off their child ages 5-9 years old

For Parents and children ages 2-4 we will read the story of Purim, make and take hamentashen cookies and enjoy crafts.

Young Family Shabbat Experience is designed to provide families with children ages 1-6 with a meaningful Shabbat experience. Friday evening includes Shabbat dinner (with rituals), Shabbat worship and programming to build community.

Reservations for Shabbat dinner are require by Wednesday prior and can be made online at www.EmanuelDenver.org/YSFE. You can bring your own dinner if you choose (no pork or shell fish plese), but please make a reservation so we know how many to expect.

Young Family Shabbat Experience is designed to provide families with children ages 1-6 with a meaningful Shabbat experience. Our Saturday morning begins at 9:00 am with a light breakfast (bagels and cream cheese) followed by Shabbat worship and a project. A perfect way to celebrate Shabbat morning with your family. Join us at the Mizel Museum for a very special book launch event for The Purim Superhero, the first LGBT-inclusive Jewish children's book and the winner of Keshet's book-writing contest. There will be healthy kid-friendly snacks, a book reading, and an arts and crafts project for kids of all ages!

Come join the Rodef Shalom family as we celebrate the holiday of Purim. This family friendly service will include the reading of the Megillah, singing, groggers, costume parade, and hamataschen! Prizes will be given to the children that come in costume. See you there.
