Family Tu B'Shevat Seder

Na'aleh will meet again on Saturday morning, February 4 for Shabbat services and a potluck lunch.

Where: Mizel Museum, 400 South Kearney St., Denver, near Alameda and Monaco.
With the growth that Na'aleh has experienced over the past year, we are beginning to outgrow the homes where we have been meeting in the past, and we are exploring a larger and more regular location for our monthly meetings. It is a pleasure to thank the Mizel Museum and Congregation Rodef Shalom for making this space available.

Community Education Day-Magical Mitzvah Tour

“Tikkun Olam and Taking Care of Our Planet as part of the Tu B’Shevat Theme”.  Everyone is invited to dig in and give back during this morning’s projects which will include the start of a sustainable urban garden at B’nai Havurah, a project for Habitat for Humanity, a collecting and re-using crayon project, planting of plants for seniors and so much more.

Hebrew Kirtan, inspired by a form of devotional prayer developed in India, is a technique of call-and-response, participatory chant using short, sacred phrases from Jewish liturgy as powerful, universal meditations. It is contemplative, ecstatic and fun. Hal Aqua and other musicians will guide us through the flow of the Shacharit service, using Kirtan chants to connect us to one another and to our Source.
